As a relatively small college, located outside London, Cambridge Performing
Arts College maintains a family atmosphere. Our students easily
develop a trusting relationship with both teaching and administrative staff.
Whatever problems our students may have, we are there to help.
We have a dedicated Student Welfare Officer, and all students have their
own personal tutor. Students are able to talk with a counsellor from the
college if necessary.
It is not possible to continue your studies properly if injured. Our
Injury Officer will refer students to the appropriate professionals.
After graduation students are always welcome back to college. Staff
often continue to advise and assist them well into their professional careers.
Parents of our students have a close association with the college, and often attend performances. Ex-students and their parents frequently maintain an on-going relationship with the college after graduation.
To be successful in a performing arts career you must have skills beyond the ability to dance, sing and act. We teach all our students about professional practice within the working environment because this is essential for employment. We offer the skills required to secure and maintain employment and strategies for ensuring the requisite levels of fitness, health and safety.
In addition to regular training we provide all students with opportunities in the work place. Opportunities range from teaching experience to performance experience on professional contracts.
We work with our students to develop their individual talents by taking a holistic approach to training. During your time with us, you will be part of a caring and nurturing environment and you'll be supported through an important transitional period in your life. We will help you mature into responsible and conscientious adults who are well prepared for a career in the performing arts.
Cambridge Performing Arts College wants to inspire all with the glorious creativity and discipline of the arts. If you want to be inspired, train with us.
